Our History
John Dombrowski is the principal attorney and founder of JPD Legal LLC, a practice known for blending big law expertise with the personal touch of a small-town firm, all offered at competitive prices. John earned both JD and MBA degrees with honors within a three-year span and further specialized with an LLM in Taxation from New York University. His career began as a tax associate at a prominent East Coast law firm where he later became a partner before relocating his practice to the West Coast.
Today, JPD Legal operates from three offices located in Prescott, AZ; Long Beach, CA; and Toledo, OH. John’s practice has matured from focusing primarily on tax issues to offering comprehensive solutions to businesses, their owners, and high net worth individuals. His distinctive client work includes serving as outside counsel for one of the largest egg production cooperatives in the U.S., crafting complex joint venture real estate development agreements, and managing a variety of tax-related representations.
John has successfully negotiated numerous tax audits and settlements for both federal and state tax issues involving income tax, payroll tax, and sales tax. His expertise extends to advising on mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and crafting various commercial contracts including procurement, consulting, and licensing agreements. John is also passionate about family estate planning, particularly helping small business owners secure their business’s future beyond their lifetime.
